Message from the Pastor. RE: COVID-19

by | 20 March 2020

Submit to Government

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.”  Romans 13:1-2

We applaud the Government of South Africa under the leadership of HE Cyril Ramaphosa for the tough decisions made and measures put in place in dealing with and preventing further spread of COVID-19 virus.

South Africans must unite, support the Government and moreover act responsibly in ensuring that the spread of this disease is prevented.

It is saddening to hear on news that there are Christian  leaders and “believers” who continue to defy government’s directives on this matter. They are not only putting the lives of their congregants and fellow believers in danger,  but defying God Himself! (See scripture above)

At Kingdom Harvest Bible Church we support the government and most importantly continue to PRAY for the healing of our people and our nation from this virus.

We praise the Lord God Almighty for the healing of those who recovered from COVID-19. We extend our condolences to the families around the globe who lost their loved ones through this virus.

Let us continue to practice personal hygiene as per WHO(World Health Organization) guidelines and be safe.

Nkosi sikelel’ iAfrika!

In His Service

Ps Bonginkosi Dlulisa
